Hot dip galvanizing

  1. 1 Applied area

    This standard specifies the effective surface of applied galvanizing (hereinafter referred to as plating) of cable trays for construction and its parts.

  2. 2 Kinds

    The types of plating are classified as shown in Table 1 according to the amount of adhesion and the number of tests.

  3. 3 Quality
    3-1.

    Appearance The plating surface should be practically smooth, and there should be no blemishes or harmful defects in the plating.

    3-2. Adhesion

    The plating film should adhere well to the base metal, and peeling or cracking should not occur under warranty handling.

  4. 4 Exam
    4-1. Specimens collection method

    1. (1) A lot is formed by plating a material of the same material under the same conditions, and a sample representative of the lot is used as sampling. Take the test from the sample.

    2. (2) If it is difficult to cut a test piece, such as an assembled product, take a sample from the same material used for the assembled product, and plated it with the body at the same time as the test piece.

    3. (3) Unless otherwise specified by the purchaser, the sample quantity and method shall be one normal inspection of KSA3109 (factor-adjusted sampling inspection method), S-1, AQL: 2.5%.

  5. 5 Test

    Plating shall be tested according to 4 and pass the regulations in 3.
    Adhesion amount test, antimony chloride test, and adhesion test are carried out by taking specimens according to 4.1.

  6. 6 Display

    The following items shall be marked on the label, invoice, etc.

    6-1. Symbol indicating the type of plating
    6-2. Date of processing
    6-3. Name of processor or its medicinal effect
